CIPHC is supporting the Family House, 1339 E. Nebraska Ave., Peoria for our June Charity. We will be preparing and serving a meal to the guests of the house on Tuesday, June 2.
Family House provides accommodations and service to patients receiving treatment and families of patients facing serious health challenges. Our menu is spaghetti and meatballs, french bread, tossed salad, assorted desserts, and drinks. Marvin, Heidi, Phil, and I are coordinating the event. I will be purchasing all of the food for the event. If you would like to donate to the cause, I will add my Venmo at the bottom of this email. Any monetary donations left over after purchasing the food will be given directly to Family House. If you don’t use Venmo, but would like to donate, email me and we will work something out. If you would like to help us prepare and serve the meal, buffet style, please email me at captionwrite@gmail.com and I’ll add your name. You would need to be at Family House between 5-5:30pm so we can serve dinner at 6pm.
If you aren’t able to make it to Family House, Happy Hour will be the same night, June 2, right after our charity event. We will meet at approximately 6:30pm at Thyme Kitchen and Craft Beer, 736 SW Washington St., Peoria. Again, please RSVP so we have enough seats at the table for those coming and the vendor knows to expect a large group.
