It’s that time of year again – our annual volunteer event at the Ann Benjamin Camp! TCRC’s Ann Benjamin Camp is a week-long camp that serves young adults with developmental disabilities.
We will again host a party for the campers! The theme they have chosen for this year is Good ‘Ole Fashion American Summer, so we’ll be doing County Fair/4th of July/Americana type activities. The night of the event, we’ll need a minimum of 6-8 volunteers to help set up and run games/activity stations for the campers. We typically do a couple games, temporary tattoos/face painting, a craft, and a snack.
Please let me know if you’ll be able to make it this year. We had a great turn-out last year and it went so smoothly having so many helpers. Ask the volunteers from past years – it’s a great event, the campers are so much fun. You’re sure to have a great time!
