November charity is Peoria Honor Flight. Member Gail Brown is organizing this event, and she has made a beautiful patriotic quilt that will be raffled off. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. The Legion in Washington graciously offered to let us sell tickets on Wednesday nights when they have Bingo, and the women of the Legion meet on Thursday, Contact Gail for tickets.
The drawing will be held Wednesday, November 11 at the American Legion in Washington at 6:30pm. We would love to see as many members as possible attend the drawing to show our appreciation to the Legion for helping us out with this event. So meet us at the Legion for pizza and a beer (or whatever suits your fancy) and Party with a Purpose!!
